SVK-001 — VERIOK® System

Internal standard for certification, validation and technical verification

SVK-001 sets out the normative and operating framework through which VERIOK® plans, performs, documents and controls its certification, validation and technical verification activities.

It defines how an application is received, its scope is established, evidence is reviewed, information is protected, a decision is reached and the result remains verifiable.

What SVK-001 is

SVK-001 is the internal standard that defines how the VERIOK® System operates. It sets common criteria, responsibilities and controls so that every case is managed consistently, proportionately, confidentially and with full traceability.

Its purpose is to turn reviewable information and facts into documented results that can be understood and, where appropriate, consulted by third parties.

    The result is documented and linked to the relevant evidence, criteria and responsible persons.

    Issue and consultation

    Where appropriate, the certificate is issued and the defined consultation method is enabled.

Confidentiality and information protection

VERIOK® applies the principle of minimisation: it requests and processes only the information needed to assess the defined scope.

Client documentation remains separate from the certificate and the public consultation record. Only information expressly authorised for publication is disclosed.

Depending on the nature and sensitivity of the case, evidence may be reviewed through:

Private upload
Documentation is added to the private case file, with access limited to authorised persons.
Review without deposit
Particularly sensitive information may be presented in a controlled session, through temporary access or in a client-managed environment, without retaining an unnecessary copy.
On-site review
Where information or an activity cannot reasonably be reviewed remotely, an on-site review may be agreed under a specific proposal.

Confidentiality may limit the custody of evidence, but it does not remove the need for sufficient and reviewable information.

Review and decision

The depth of review is proportionate to the subject, purpose and risk of the case. If evidence is insufficient or findings arise, remediation conditions are documented before a decision is reached.

The decision is human, identifiable and traceable. It must remain linked to the scope, applicable criteria, reviewed evidence and assigned responsibilities, with explicit management of impartiality and conflicts of interest.

A documented and verifiable result

Following a favourable decision, VERIOK® may issue a certificate identified by a unique VERIOK-ID.

Public certificates may include a QR code linking to Verify. The record enables the authorised public status, validity and scope to be consulted without disclosing documents, evidence or sensitive case information.

Once a definitive PDF exists, VERIOK calculates its SHA-256 fingerprint so that the integrity of the document can be checked.

Traceability and document control

Evidence, references, actions, decisions and status changes remain linked to the relevant case throughout the applicable retention period.

SVK-001 is subject to version control. The validity, suspension or withdrawal of a result and the use of the certificate are recorded so that its status can be checked without disclosing restricted information.
